I do have a small theory, as you said, muffin had that verified check mark. It does make me wonder, what does stripe and trixi do for work? I feel like it is never mentioned, it does also make me wonder, is muffin's RUclips channel the family income? Making and editing videos obviously requires help, a young kid could never do it by themselves. It would also take time, so it would leave them to not have much time for work, though they never mentioned having a job. I'm not sure, if you have any reason to correct me, please tell me! Thanks for reading this!
I feel people who dislike this episode and call it hypocritical perhaps don’t understand the concept of satire or humor and irony. I’ve encountered it a lot with modern audiences Having an expectation that characters must always be virtuous at all times. This puts serious restraint on a writer’s ability to depict the negative elements for the sake of a cautionary tale.
It actually feels like the episode isn’t hypocritical per se, but rather a satirical tool used to prove why their ethics are better than most RUclips parents.
@@aussiegirlmargie my mom being a kindergarten teacher for four decades (she is a lot like Calypso) said that kids are like mirrors. they reflect back what their home is like and who their parents are.

I think they did this on purpose to show kids the reality/behind the scene of YT. It’s great! A good teaching moment too that even when you tube seems ‘real’ that there’s still lots that isn’t shown.
I think it's FULLY the opposite of hypocritical. It's showing a dark side of what that stuff is like. It showed Muffin clearly not wanting to do it, but having to because the brand made them. It's done very much in a kid friendly still of the "Lil Sandwhich' Skits on here. To me it felt like a warning to adults of what to not do. The same way they protect the safety of the voice actors, this is sort of a parody wake up call for any parents doing similiar.
I absolutely loved this one! Not only did it feel like a sort of satirical/social commentary episode, but it also fits perfectly into the Bluey universe and explains so much. My husband and I both said it makes perfect sense that Stripe is out here being a RUclips dad. I think it could potentially explain where their money came from and why they have such a big house.
To me when stripe says "muffin that's what they sent" it kinda gave me vibes of something that toys r us did in my country a few years ago so if u won a competition toy r us would send u toys to unbox on their channel
This mini-sode literally became a parody for all those “kids unboxing toys” RUclips channels. 😅 Despite me seeing the obvious signs, it’s honestly pretty funny.

Man, I feel sorry for Socks. She probably doesn't have a lot of toys and Muffins is basically hogging all of it. Also, yeah this one was my favorite as well.
I think it's more to show parents like Stripes telling their kid "You can become famous and play with toys!" when it's really all about the money. Even if the parent is thinking their kid can have a better life because of the revenue, it's still not okay. Not every parent is like this, some kids genuinely love it and the parents want to encourage their child. However, this episode is about the dark side of it. Do you think that ten years or so from now we will find out who did the kid’s voices and we will see a whole bunch of footage watching younger versions of the now adults dropping lines in front of the mic?
No it’s not hypocritical of Bluey because it’s Muffin. It makes sense for Muffin and Stripe’s characters. Edit: Muffin is my favorite character and I’m currently wearing Muffin socks.
It’s known that Bandit and Chilli have sworn. In Tradies the kids said to Chilli that they said words that their parents used when something bad happened and she responded with “oh dear.”
Is there more episodes? I remember in the trailer there was bingo on drums and the girls and chunky swimming in a pool also you said it would be a deep dive into special characters
I see I am not the only one who suspected that Stripe cursed after he got the truck working. I just hope Muffin didn't put that word into her long-term memory. I know that Bluey and Bingo had allegedly heard cursing before in the episode Tradies, but Muffin is much younger than them.
There is this discussion if Stripe is a good father figure or not, with people saying he may be not as good as Bandit, but he's still learning and every parent is different, but in this minisode it seems he really is not a good father. Hey we’ve seen how he genuinely cares about the wellbeing of his kids. I don’t think it’s so bad to have your kids make a video every once in a while. Kinda like a chore in a way.
I would like to add, while I still think parents should not force their kids to be famouse on the internet and it appears Stripe more or less does it to Muffin, I know Strip still tries to be a good father to her, see Library and Face Talk. These are just some small parts that shows what goes on in the Stripe Heeler House, and who knows what goes on in the houses of Bluey's friends. Coco has a big family, Rust's mother is implied to hit her children, which is also not good, and we never see how Snickers lives.
Yeah, I didn't get hypocritical from it. It honestly felt as if it was almost mocking that type of content and the parents who push their kids into it, which would make sense if they value the children's anonymity and private lives.
I had to rewind the scene where Muffin said she had to use the toilet when I watched this episode because I thought Stripe said “oh Fu…” instead of “Muff…”

Aww muffin would make a awesome RUclipsr love your videos maggie
she has the energy for it!
@@aussiegirlmargie Yes she does she's also my favorite little kid
i don't think is good for stripe to allow muffin (a 4 year old) to have a youtube channel, her channel is already verified like bruh!!
yeah i think it was definetly a commentary on this situation in real life
I just hope the fame doesn’t get to stripe’s mind.
@@mephones_husbandI doubt it. We’ve seen how he genuinely cares for the wellbeing of his kids.
@@Magulousmousyep after all he’s only doing it for the money to make his kids happy and to put a roof over their head and such.
@@Cuevamus spend only a few minutes making a vid every once in a while. Especially with a toy she’ll genuinely like.😅
It’s so weird we haven’t got it here in Australia yet! It’s not in AU Disney plus either. 🤔
1:55- That explains why she’s Bluey’s best friend. Even though she didn’t invite Bingo to her birthday party, when Bingo invited her to hers.
I hope u get to 200k 🎉
I love how you flex your play button, as you should!
I didn’t expect anything less out of Muffin 🤣
Nice video auzzie girl can't wait for next video 🎉
Yeah, I didn't get hypocritical from it. It honestly felt as if it was almost mocking that type of content and the parents who push their kids into it, which would make sense if they value the children's anonymity and private lives.
Me: *Pauses the video* *Goes on Disney+ and adds Bluey Minisodes to my Watchlist*
I had to rewind the scene where Muffin said she had to use the toilet when I watched this episode because I thought Stripe said “oh Fu…” instead of “Muff…”
I love how muffin is verified😂
SAME! my favorite little detail haha
@@aussiegirlmargie yay u saw me :D
My 2nd favorite of the new minisodes after Letter! I love Muffin and Socks!
I love your Muffin earrings!
This minisode was hilarious I saw all of them this morning and they were cute 🥰 muffin is a comedy queen also I wish we could see more of muffins unboxing channel
I just see a game of pretend with muffin. They’re playing. It’s all imagination.
We can hope 🥲
It was my three year olds favorite of all the minis
My take was Muffin made them film her. I just assumed she saw an unboxing video and went ballistic until Stripe caved.
I love your hair, Aussie Girl Margie! Pink is my favorite color!😍💗🐶
The sunnyv2 reference was way funnier than i thought
